May 2, 2011- day two in London

Today we met with an additional tour guide at 8:45 AM to take a guided tour through different parts of London we had not seen yesterday. Our first stop was to look at the view of the London Bridge and Tower of London from a point across the River of Thames. We then went and looked at where Diagon Alley from Harry Potter was located and later saw the school the Daniel Ratcliffe attended. We took a walk by St. Paul's Cathedral where Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married and it was absolutely breathtaking! After that, we went to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guards; we missed the actual change but were able to see them march down the walkway. We then met with an Alumni of Culver about a business she started on here own called Wellness Corporation then were able to have free time. A group of us went to Oxford Street to do some shopping. We then all regrouped and met at the Temple tube station and walked over to have dinner at a pub called The Devereux where we ate "bangers and mash" (aka. sausage links and mashed potatoes). :) That concluded our evening as we made our way back to the hotel. So far London has been great to us and is an amazingly beautiful city rich with history! Hope all is well back in the US!! :)
